Fujinon XF 35mm f1.4 R

Arrived today, the latest addition to my Fuji kit, the Fujinon XF 35mm f1.4 R lens.

I bought it used, not that you can tell though, it looks as if its never even been fitted to a camera body, from MBP Photographic. It arrived in the original Fuji box, wrapped in the plastic as it did new. Not a mark on it and with the bayonet fit lens hood as well.

Attached to the X-Pro1 it works perfectly, and looks superb.

Looking forward to putting it through its paces soon.

Straight out of camera jpg no post processing just re-sizing for the blog.
Focus point was the ribbed focus barrel on the 18-55mm lens. Nice thin DoF.
1250 ISO f1.4 1/100th sec Handheld.

The weather forecast for the weekend was not favourable, so I took some quick images this lunchtime, bright but overcast. I'm impressed with the lens sharpness and Bokeh.

  3. Just popped by your blog to have a look at the Fuji photos. I like the clock pic! Couldn't resist clicking on the MBP Photographic link ... that click cost me £300!! Two extension tubes for Hasselblad-H-System arriving Tuesday! You're a bad influence Mr Jones ... (does that sound familiar)?
