Canon G10 Powershot

I Fancied a camera I could take with me when I ride my motorcycle. I ride a Triumph Street Triple R and its not the type of bike for which panniers or luggage is made. I do though have a smallish case designed to mount on the pillion seat which holds enough for an overnight stop, maybe a weekend if you really cram it full. This means that its impossible to take my Canon 5D2. I could get the Fuji X-Pro1 in if I didn't pack any trousers, but that is a little inconvenient.

So a small compact; I'd always liked the look of the Canon G series and came across a nice condition G10 at MBP Photographic for £109.

I've only had a couple of hours to play with it so far but was really impressed with the Macro mode and how nice the images look in B&W when passed through Nik Suite.

I'll write more once I've had a longer play with it and shot some better images, in the meantime here is there Macro shot I was impressed with.
