Tattoos with Canon 5D2 and 50mm f1.4

I've just finished processing the shots I took at Awake Arise Tattoo studio in Melrosegate in York.
JJ, the tattoo artist was really accommodating in letting me photograph a whole day session he was doing.
I knew that the studio was not directly lit and did not want to spoil the atmosphere, or JJ's concentration, by using flash so bought the Canon 50mm f1.4 for the shoot. Also the shallow DOF would add to the photos. I bought the lens from Wexphotographic who I've used before and their service was faultless as usual.

I  shot with my 5D2 as it works reliably and consistently and is noise free at ISO 3200. I shot in Av mode and also used my Canon 24-70mm f2.8. The photos displayed here were taken on the 50mm only though.
Processed in Lightroom as usual.

Also thanks to Jack at Awake Arise and Brendan for letting me photograph his leg.

Hereford Cathedral with Leica M8

I've been away for a few days, first to our house in Wales and then just over the border in Hereford.
The weather was largely very poor, pissing with rain, but the afternoon in Hereford was dry so I popped out for a walk with my Leica M8.

I liked the look of the sky so took a few shots of Hereford Cathedral.
Processed in Lightroom as usual.
